What’s your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your registration by sending a written cancellation request via email, fax or mail to be received on or before September 30th, 2018. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from your original registration rate. No refunds will be made after September 30, 2018.

In the event that you cannot attend the conference, you may transfer or assign your paid registration to another participant by advising conference registration at smokelesssummit @ healthedcouncil.org or 916-556-3344


How do I pay by invoice/purchase order?

Please send a message to smokelesssummit @ healthedcouncil.org with the name(s) and email(s) of those you would like to register. A registration form will then be sent to these individuals via DocuSign. Once the registration form is completed, an invoice will be generated with information on where to submit payment.


Are meals served at the summit?

Breakfast, AM/PM Snack break ,and lunch are served on October 16th and October 17th


Where can I download the agenda?

Please see the Agenda Tab on this website for the most current agenda. We are busily adding keynotes, speakers and training’s so please check back frequently.


Can I have more information on the Youth Advocacy Training that is being offered?

Provided by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in collaboration with the California Youth Advocacy Network on Wednesday, October 17, youth-led and facilitated sessions will be offered to youth advocates wanting to get the knowledge, skills and tools they need to fight tobacco use in their schools and communities. Youth will also plan and lead an advocacy activity in downtown Sacramento to put what they learn into direct action!

A youth rate, as well as, a one-day rate for adults attending with youth is available at the cost of $225. Register here.

Youth-interested sessions and workshops will also be provided throughout the Summit, including flavored tobacco, vaping, e-cigarettes, youth empowerment, racial equity, and vulnerable populations.


Will the Summit provide continuing education units (CEU)?

Yes CEU’s will be provided this year. Stay tuned for more details.


Are there discount registration fees for speakers/presenters?

Please contact us for more information.


I receive funding from the California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP). Can I use it to attend the Summit?

NSSTP is aligned with CTCP goals and is an allowable expense if supported by the Travel/Per Diem and Training budget line item. Please contact your CTCP Procurement Manager if you have questions about using your CTCP funds to attend NSSTP.


Is there a government room rate available at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento?

NSSTP has arranged for a limited number of rooms at the prevailing government rate. Please use this link to request the Government Rate by email.
